What is leflunomide?
Leflunomide is an oral drug that is used to treat many forms of vasculitis, including ANCA associated vasculitis, Takayasu’s, Behcet’s, and cutaneous vasculitis.

Leflunomide interferes with the proliferation of immune cells.
How is leflunomide given?
Leflunomide is given as an oral pill once per day at a dose of 10 mg or 10 mg.
Side effects:
We pay particular attention to liver function tests and blood counts when using leflunomide.
All immunosuppressants require regular monitoring in the form of blood tests, in-person assessments, and vigilance for signs of infection.
